What's happening?
shindig is for the night you know you want to go hear something, but don't know where or who's playing.
What it does
shindig gathers upcoming shows, from the intimate bars to the arenas, into one place. Filter by night, neighborhood, genre, vibe and price, or browse on a map. Mark what you're going to, see where your friends are headed, and keep a history of every show you've been to.
What it isn't
shindig doesn't sell tickets, and it isn't an artist marketing platform. Every show links straight to the venue's or ticket seller's official page, and that's where you buy.
Artists only
Every listing headlines a real artist, band or DJ. We leave out parties, themed nights, talks and other events so the list stays about the music.
Where the listings come from
Show details (who's playing, where and when) come from venues' public calendars and official event data, refreshed every morning. Genres come from the open music databases MusicBrainz and Last.fm. Band photos and artwork belong to their owners and are shown to help promote the shows.
